Air-dried, not cooked

Biltong is South-African style air-dried beef. Premium cuts are seasoned and dried at low temperature for days, giving a tender slice with concentrated flavour.

Time over shortcuts

We spice with coriander and cracked pepper, add vinegar, then air-dry for 3–5 days. No smoking, no frying, just patient craft for depth and clean texture.

Lean or Fatty

Choose your bite: Lean for a cleaner, firmer chew, or Fatty for a richer mouthfeel and bold finish. Both are hand-sliced in small batches.

High-protein, gluten-free

What is biltong? +

Biltong is a traditional South African dried meat, marinated in vinegar, salt, and spices, then air-dried. Unlike jerky, it is not smoked or cooked with heat, which gives it a tender texture and a rich, natural flavour.

What is droëwors? +

Droëwors (pronounced 'droo-eh-vors') is a traditional South African dried sausage, seasoned with coriander and spices. It's a high-protein snack that's perfect for on-the-go snacking.

What is the difference between biltong and beef jerky? +

Beef jerky is cooked or smoked using direct heat, resulting in a drier, firmer texture. Biltong is air-dried at cool temperatures, which preserves more moisture and delivers a fuller, more natural flavour.

What is the shelf life of your products? +

Biltong is made with sustainably sourced grass fed UK, Irish and EU Beef. The cut used is called Silverside, best known and used for biltong.

Our delicious Biltong recipes have been created by us with much passion & care, further complementing our ancestor’s recipes to capture mouth-watering flavours, using the BEST of cuts of BRITISH, IRISH & EU BEEF infused with the SPLENDOUR of SOUTH AFRICAN SPICES”.

Using state of the art curing ovens, exceeding Health and Safety Standards whilst safeguarding the flavour and tradition of homemade Biltong we take pride in handcrafting each delicious stick. It takes us approximately 2.3 kilograms of the finest beef to produce 1 kilogram of The Biltong’s Mans BEST. Our cuts of silverside beef are infused with salt, black pepper, coriander, celery, chilli, garlic, smoked paprika, ground cloves, malt/apple cider vinegar, and of course A TOUCH OF THE BILTONG MANS MAGIC!
